TRUSTEES

 

Richard Collier-Keywood, LLB, Barrister, FCA, OBE

Richard retired from the most senior global appointed role in PWC after nearly 30 years’ service in February 2017 on the basis that he wanted to spend a balance of time between businesses, civil society and the public sector with the consistent platform to improve society through resetting the social contract between business and society both systemically and in specific areas. His current roles are built on his reputation and experience as a senior leader in PWC where he passionately believed in equal opportunities for every individual and that organisations have a responsibility to consider their impact on all stakeholder groups, including society. 

 

William Douglas McGinn

Doug is a Chartered Director (Institute of Directors) and has been for almost 20 years with a diploma in Company Direction and Business Management.  He was Business Director and CEO for over 20 years managing a variety of businesses in the Military, Aerospace and Government Security sectors.  He led the business through two trade sales whilst maintaining performance against agreed targets.  He is experienced at company restructuring and business turnaround.  He managed numerous production and development contracts prior to assuming the role of business director.  Latterly, he has been Operations Director for Medium Size Church and managed the church through a major building project.

 

Sean Cavanagh

Sean is a Theatrical Set Designer who has worked on productions in the West End such as Dreamboats and Petticoats, Joseph and the Technicolour Dreamcoat and many more.  Sean was Head of Design for the prestigious Plymouth Theatre Royal for two years prior to the theatre’s opening in 1982 and then for the first two years of its operation. He was lead designer for corporate events company The Full Effect for four years from 1998 to 2002. He is a long-standing Artistic Associate and Director of the York-based Riding Lights Theatre Company.

 

Peter Davies

Peter has a long-established history in pioneering community initiatives that offer employment and also practical care to those in need. His ability to think strategically has enabled him to take up roles in a variety of denominational and interdenominational activities, he also lectures on leadership in a variety of fields. Peter has an MA in management.  Peter was leader of Elim @ Bristol church for many years which is how we first met him.  He grew this church from around 200 to around 800.  He currently leads funerals for Co-op Funeralcare and has rave reviews.

MANAGEMENT TEAM

 

Nancy Goudie

Nancy co-founded The Inspire Arts Trust in 2004 with her husband Ray (who passed away in 2016).  Nancy is a qualified public speaker and speaks at conferences and events around the world.  She has also authored 22 books and in her youth was a singer in a band.  The band she was in during the 1980’s had a Top Forty hit with a song call Tears from Heaven and appeared on Top of the Pops. Nancy attends the BALPA shows whenever she can, and she loves seeing the young people grow in confidence as they perform.

 

Zoe Wickham

Zoe is a mum of two who has worked at Inspire since it was founded in 2004.  She has a certificate in Company direction from the Institute of Directors.  She has loved helping Inspire and especially BALPA grow over the years and seeing the young people develop.  Both her children have been through BALPA.  She also is a qualified fitness and nutrition instructor, personal trainer and Pilates teacher.  Zoe currently heads up Inspire’s wellbeing programme.
