Sport-specific training is simply fitness and performance training designed specifically for athletic performance enhancement. The use of sports specific training allows you to reach your goals in sport. It can result in better performance, lower injury risk and increase competitive longevity.  Training will include strength, power, speed, endurance, mobility, stability, flexibility, balance, etc. This is used to complement your sports training and to improve your general fitness. This class is a great way to get energised to popular kids’ songs. Many different forms of street dance are covered in this class such as: Hip-hop, house, commercial and freestyle! Children will gain an understanding of the basic social grooves and techniques, which are then incorporated into show routines. This is a very popular and fun class and a great way to build confidence.

Individual Drum lessons at BALPA are perfect for beginners. In the lessons students will learn the fundamentals of drumming such as rudiment patterns, fills, groves and how to implement them in your favourite Pop and Rock songs. Drum lessons provide a strong foundation in musical rhythm, technique and help to improve your child’s coordination.

Individual Guitar lessons at BALPA are an ideal for beginners and early years students interested in learning a new instrument. In our guitar lessons students will learn how to play their favourite Rock and Pop songs whilst also covering key fundamental techniques such as learning how to read and play from Guitar TAB, scales, open chords, power chords, finger picking and riffs.
